​Narciso

          Il progetto  che meglio rappresenta la mia ricerca artistica.  Le  orchidee  sono  sempre il soggetto  principale, ma la composizione  si arricchisce  di  un nuovo elemento:  il riflesso sull'acqua, che regala alle opere  di  questa   serie  trame   curiose  e  intriganti   che  possono   sfociare  nella astrazione.

       The project  that best represent my artistic research, where orchids are still the main subject,  but a new  element has been added to the composition: the reflection on  water, which   gives   the artworks  of  this  series  of  curious  and intriguing   patterns  which  may  flow  into abstraction. 

 

 

 

Orchids      

      E' una serie ricorrente dedicata al fiore icona della storia.

Ogni orchidea si differenzia dalle altre non solo per colore e forma, ma per il carattere che esprime, per l'emozione che riesce a suscitare in chi la osserva.E'mio desiderio catturare sulla tela quell'emozione  coinvolgendo  e condividendo  con l'osservatore ciò che mi ha ispirato.

 

    

    It's an ongoing series about one of the most iconic flowers in history. Orchids are different from each other not only for their colours and shapes but also for their character, for the  emotion they might trigger while observing them. I want to capture that emotion on the canvas in order to share it with the viewers and engage them with the same feeling which had inspired me.

 

Patterns

​      I 'Patterns' sono ovunque intorno a noi, nelle geometrie dell'urbano quotidiano o nell'apparente disordine della natura: sono un continuo stimolo visivo. La pittura estemporanea di questa serie mi permette di rendere sulla tela una personale percezione e  interpretazione della realtà.

Le opere sono composte da due tele e dipinte con legno, alluminio,spugne e qualsiasi cosa che lasci un traccia  sulla tela, diventando a sua volta un pattern in un gioco senza fine.

     Patterns are all around us, either in the geometry of urban daily life or in the apparent disorder of Nature: they are a continual visual stimulation. The extemporaneous paint of this series allows me to render on  canvas a personal perception and interpretation of reality.

​Artworks are composed of two canvases and painted with  wood, aluminum, sponge and anything  which can leave a mark on the canvas, becoming a pattern itself as in an endless game.



 

​Zoomorphic

      

         Nelle  mie  ricerche  sulle   orchidee   ho  trovato   alcuni esemplari  che  ricordano  animali :  falene,  farfalle, ragni  ma anche creature marine e perfino facce di scimmie. Ne  è nato un curioso serraglio vegetale.

 

        

 

           In my research about  orchids I came across  some species which  reminded  me  some  animals : moths, butterflies  and spiders,  but  also  sea  creatures  and  even monkey  faces. That is  the origin of  this peculiar series of 'vegetal animals'
